Care guide
Scalp micropigmentation
This guidance helps reduce the risk of complications, improve your comfort and healing, and get the best possible results.
Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean hair.
- If you usually wear your hair short, trim or shave it the day before — you won't be able to cut it for the first 10 days.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before.
- Avoid any scalp treatments (bleaching, PRP, and so on) for 4 weeks before — your scalp needs to be healthy.
Aftercare
- Don't wash your scalp for at least 3 days after the treatment.
- Use baby shampoo for your first hair wash in the first week.
- Avoid touching or scratching your scalp while it heals.
- Keep your scalp out of direct sunlight for the first week.
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas and anything that makes you sweat heavily for the first week.
- For any discomfort, you can take over-the-counter pain relief such as paracetamol or ibuprofen.
- Don't shave or cut your hair for at least 10 days.
- After the first week, you can return to your normal hair-care routine, including washing your scalp and using styling products.
